these are the people that visit work’s web site:
barring a festival like bumbershoot, bonnaroo, or lollapalooza, i am officially retired from shooting festivals. mind you, the family values tour on the 26th wasn’t extremely hot outside, but i’m just getting worn out.
with that said, i had a great time shooting it. shot the shit and became better friends with some of the regular […]
i’m sitting at the phoenix public library because my car won’t start and i stopped there to pick up a book before heading over to ma’s to do laundry. anyway, that’s neither here nor there.
my point is, their websense web filter has blocked my use of google! i have no problems access yahoo, but who […]
i’m trying to shoot as many different genres of music as possible. i’ve shot hip-hop when el-p came through town. i’ve also shot folk (alison krauss, norah jones), punk (warped tour, edgefest), and hard rock (rollins band). i’m not sure what you’d clasify the yeah, yeah, yeahs as.
anywho, i’ve yet to shoot classic rock, until […]
when i heard this, i had to say something:
co-worker: “all the transformers movie is is just a long ad for dodge trucks.”
my reply: “all the cartoon was was just a 22 minute commercial for the toys.”
don’t fuck with my childhood.
i’m taking a quick moment before this conference (yeah, i came back for more) to post some photos from some concerts i recently shot.
john mayer and ben folds
this has to be the best concert i’ve ever shot. the photos came out great. i got to see ben folds playing table tennis. folds also gave me […]

the funeral was today.
the gathering room they were going to hold the service in could hold, at the most, 75 people. close to 300 showed up.
they had to move the service outside.
i could here saundie laughing and saying, “y’all got it all wrong.”
the services was beautiful. saundie’s oldest daughter gave a great eulogy. she talked […]
i’ve never heard anybody close to me or that i’ve been really good friends with die before.
don’t get me wrong. when i was seven, my grandfather died, but i was too young to really remember, and any memories i have of him have all be told to me after the fact.
that all changed at 1:30am […]
on friday, we launched a new sports section. i took lead in design and, of course, coding of this beast.
if you know me at all, you know i’m not happy with it. everyone tells me that it looks good, but i need to do something with that top nav. it seems forced in there and […]
