for some reason, i find myself going out and shooting massive concert festivals in the extreme heat. this past week, i ventured out to tempe town lake to shoot the 2006 edgefest. its presented by the local so-called valley alternative 103.9 the edge. how can you be the valley alternative when you play the same thing everyone else does?

anyway, back to the concert, it was an easy shoot until the last three bands when the photo pool tripled in size. i was tripping over people, the lighting for rise against was horrible, and other photogs were using their flash. that’s just a big no-no for concert shooting.
