this is just a quick post about music.

i just got back from seeing the silversun pickups and viva voce at modified. i’ll more about it over on womscale later, but it got me thinking about what kind of music i really like listening to.

anyway, while doing some general browsing, i popped over to the wom and noticed my long winters review was still at the top. i hit play on the “utlimatum” video and just thought, “man, that’s a great song.” i don’t what it is, but the slowness of the song, mixed with the lyrics just really moves me. even when the performed it live at stinkweeds, it still had that same feeling. the faster version on the new album doesn’t match the same feeling. i really prefer the slower.

if the time ever came that a woman would steal my heart, i would have this song on a cd for her.
