i couldn’t resist.

anyway, i’ve been running good ol’ win xp64 for about a year now. i like it. i run a firewall and run regular virus checks and, of course, steer very clear of IE. firefox only here, baby!

my one biggest gripe is that i haven’t been able to burn cds with itunes. itunes may not be the best, but i like it, so get off my back. buy. burn. rip.

well, i’ve been stockpiliing music to bbr and what i have burned using my trusty ibook, i just copied to my ipod. i like to have a solid backup of my music, though.

finally fed up, i scoured the internet looking for a solution. within one click, i found my solution.

Itunes uses a GEAR Software driver for it’s CD burning. GEAR has an x64 update available that Apple has never bothered including with Itunes.

to make a long story short, download the xp64 driver, restart itunes, and start downloading!
